Ghana is a country of about 27 million people located between the Ivory Coast and Togo along the Atlantic coast. It is known for its diversity ethnically, linguistically, and geographically, with a variety of cultures both native and from abroad present in the country. The lands of Ghana have been inhabited for several thousand years, and in the 1500s, it was contested among the major European powers for its strategic position along important trade routes, referred to then as the Gold Coast. Today, it is an independent, democratically governed, and economically influential country, considered a regional power and an international gateway into West Africa.
The country is divided into multiple regions, each with its own governing capital. The capital of Ghana’s northern region, Tamale, is a metropolitan center of about 1.7 million people, and the country’s third largest city (second largest by area). It is, by some accounts, the single fastest growing city in West Africa, a region that is full of growing cities. Tamale has been attracting major attention from the biggest multinational Ghanaian companies that once focused their activities on the southern parts of the country. This means that construction is a very important industry in tamale, providing housing, facilities for new and expanding businesses, and public service capacity to the growing population.
Among the newly erected facilities in Tamale is the Tamale Stadium, a world-class football stadium that hosted matches during the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations. With a capacity of 20,000, it provides a great venue for sporting matches and a chance to unwind for Tamale’s busy residents. The city can also boast new roads crisscrossing the area, with smooth flowing traffic heavy with small motorcycles. New schools, hospitals, government buildings, and more are popping up on a regular basis, and the top company supporting and leading this construction is ALL Cons.Cons Company (ACC) Ltd.
Founded in 2010, ALL Cons.Cons Company Ltd. (ACC) is a construction, engineering, and consulting company based in Tamale, Ghana
that has contributed much to the growth of its home city. The company specializes in helping clients solve construction-related problems in every stage of the building process, from planning, to execution, to completion, to all of the above. It has built or been involved in building residential buildings, single-family homes, apartment complexes, hotels, office buildings, warehouses, restaurants, schools, shopping complexes, and a lot more in Tamale proper and all across the northern regions of Ghana. © 2016 Jav Zamor / Ramen
In addition to its construction work, the company offers consulting services that are aimed at helping others fill in any gaps in expertise they may have, and will lend a hand in architectural design, preparing contracts, project management and supervision, and more.
As a relatively young company in a quickly growing construction market, continuous improvement is a central preoccupation for ALL Cons.Cons, as it seeks to grow alongside its home city and to gain new expertise, equipment, and abilities. This means ACC’s management, engineers, and technicians are all engaged in active learning and improvement activities. Among these are regular self-evaluation, benchmarking, Quality assurance, and other tools being deployed to increase quality, attract new clients, and satisfy customers through project completion on budget, on time, and with the highest quality possible.
ACC collaborates with both local and international organisations, investors who have the interest in quality social housing schemes, research and innovations to help reduce the housing deficit estimated at about 1.7 million in Ghana, and as an indirect way to reduce unemployment through problem solving.
For its expertise, its growth, its focus on continuous improvement and quality of work, and its contributions to the local and regional economy, All Cons.Cons Company Ltd. is being recognized with the 2016 BID Quality Award, one of the highest awards for international quality and excellence on the worldwide stage.
